What is it, physically?
A menu-bar app. The deck opens over your desktop from the menu, a hotkey, or cockpit://resume — and gets out of the way when you're done.
What does it ask for?
Accessibility — to focus the right terminal window for you. Input Monitoring — only if you turn on the optional four-finger-tap gesture.
Does it run my agents?
No. Your agents keep running in your own terminals, under your accounts. Cockpit is the instrument panel, not the engine.
What does it run on?
macOS, with agent sessions in Ghostty or VS Code terminals — Claude Code, Codex and friends.
