Data Deletion

Effective July 14, 2026

Use these steps to request deletion of records created by the optionOS Instagram invitation and waitlist flow.

Request deletion

  1. Email hello@optionos.app with the subject Data deletion request.
  2. Include the Instagram username used for the comment and, if submitted, the waitlist email address.
  3. Respond to any verification message needed to prevent deletion of another person's records.

Deletion scope

After verification, the request covers matching optionOS Instagram-interaction records and matching optionOS waitlist records, events, and active waitlist tokens.

Matching Instagram-interaction records are also automatically deleted after 90 days by a daily scheduled process; earlier deletion may be requested.

This process deletes records controlled by optionOS. It does not delete an Instagram comment, Instagram account, or records controlled by Meta.
