A gesture app is only as good as the gestures it refuses. These rules run on every single touch frame.
Tap, not swipe
A tip that lingers past 300 ms or travels across the pad doesn't fire. Ever.

Your resting finger has to actually rest. If it drifts, the gesture is cancelled, not guessed.

Palm-shaped contacts are rejected outright — typing with your wrists on the pad stays safe.

Keep the hold and every new tap fires again. Five tabs over? Five taps.
