How do I use it with Claude Code or Codex?

Claude Code and Codex sessions running in the Ghostty terminal are captured automatically the moment you turn on Cockpit in settings — there is no extra setup; the app writes the hooks itself. Dictation works in every app: speak, and text lands wherever your cursor is. What you copy, capture and mark while speaking is embedded into the transcript in order; you paste the result to your agent as one piece.

Which AI agents does it work with?

All of them. optionOS produces an agent-ready task packet: intent, evidence and exact references in one text. Paste it into Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Gemini, Copilot or any other agent; for terminal agents (Claude Code, Codex) the Cockpit panel also shows sessions live.

Does it work offline?

Transcription runs on-device with Whisper by default; no internet is required. You can optionally pick a cloud transcription fallback (ElevenLabs) in settings — that is your choice. Your clipboard history and voice recordings stay on your Mac.

Does it record my passwords?

Clipboard contents that password managers mark as concealed are detected and classified as sensitive/password; your clipboard data never leaves your device. You can see and manage how sensitive entries are handled in the app's Clipboard settings.

What is a task packet?

It is a complete spoken work session: what you said (speech), what you did (copy, capture and annotation events) and what you showed (screenshots, screen recordings, marked regions) stay attached in one packet, in time order. The agent never asks "which file, where, what did you want" — the packet carries all of it.

How much does it cost?
